Where have the babies gone?
I was sitting in my rocker on my front porch watching the children at play after supper and suddenly it hit me… we have no more babies.
The Nursery is closed and is now used as a “special events” room. The youngest child we have is Sissy who is almost four years old.
And six months ahead of Sissy we have Happy who is one grade ahead of Sissy. It’s hard to believe they are already in kindergarten (1 and 2) and each one is developing her own personality.
One of the joys of their present age is each night before after their bath but before bedtime, they come over and visit Ye Ye for 45 minutes to and hour. Of course I love that and we always have a good time talking and laughing with their always wanting to show me something new they learned at school that day!
